I thought I would show more of my artwork.
I’m a bird watcher, and I live in the woods where there are many birds out here. They get food all year long, so there is a constant fluttering out here.
It’s not surprising that they find their way into my paintings. I made this series a few years ago on canvas which I don’t use so often. I gave these away as a gift, but I still get to visit them.
I loved painting these. At the time they felt like a jump for me to be able to paint them. Birds are something of a personal symbol for me. I love their beauty and their personalities and their will to live.
